10 watts of optical output for a $30 USD diode!!!
Behold, the world's most powerful 9mm single emitter multi-mode diode, the sharp 440nm GH04C06V9G.
Beating both Osram PLPT9 450LB_E, and the previously crowned king of power, NUBM0F.
This diode hit a whopping continuous, sustained optical power of 10.2 watts with a G2 lens!!!!
Although this shouldn't be much of a surprise as this diode is rated for 6W as per its datasheet, compared to 5.4W for the 0F
These results were obtained same with all my other tests, using DTR's 25mm full copper module, cooled on a TEC cooler set to 21°C, at 20cm distance from my Sanwu LPM, using G2 lens unfocused just enough to fit fully inside the sensor.
