Just got this with the 10x expander but the beam dot still seems big. If i change out the diode to the h3 or h7 will this help. Any one know what lense and diode they use. ? Has a spare glass lense but not sure what its for. Very small. like side of eraser head

There are no diodes that are 50,000mW or even close. So I'm not sure which diode it would be. Their beam expander should have it at a dot at a certain distance if it is adjusted correctly. Pictures? And H3 or H7?

50,000 mW LOL as mentioned above there is no such thing.
Sounds like a fake PL-E Pro purchased from some reseller bandit misrepresenting what they sell such as laserpointerpro.
H3 and H7 are car headlights LOL

A real PL E Pro has no user serviceable parts and does not come with any extra lens. lol

If not a joke/prank post, Contact JetLasers by email and ask

Assuming you added a 0 to the output power, these diodes have a large emitter that gives you a line rather than a dot as an output. At a few inches the spot is small enough to burn with, but to get it down to a square you would need to use a cylindrical lens pair when building it.

Provide better information for better help.

Sorry for typo got it from Jet laser. Its the 5000mw PL-E PRO blue with 10x expander. Had a blue line till i put expander on it. This seems to be common with 5000-7000mw per you tube videos. It still has a beam diameter a bout 4 inchs across just shooting it about 15 yards. Anyone else have this issue. Is this common. I know the lower the power the divergence is better.

Sometimes beam expanders can make the beam thicker in exchange for less divergence, like a tradeoff. That or you need to check your focus on both the laser and the expander and make sure it is at infinity. Otherwise the light could be spreading out like a flashlight or focused to a small dot (line in this case) somewhere near the laser and expanding outwards after that point. As a rule of thumb those high powered blues are designed for high power impact at close range, not staying tight at long distances

A Beam Expander does what it's name says it does.
A 10X beam expander expands the beam coming out of the laser to 10X the diameter.

Remove the beam expander and adjust the focus for the smallest beam diameter/dot.
That is as as good as it gets.

If it is not what you want, return it for a refund.
