I was given one of these lasers (or I think it's that laser, looks the EXACT same) at a trade show and I have to say...

WORST. LASER. EVER.

LOL I was messing around with it in a SMOKY room last night and I $hit you not, in all that smoke I still could not see the beam.  I couldn't figure out why in the hell the beam was invisible with all that particulate in the air?!  Then it hit me... walked over to the pen sitting on the counter and turned it off.  Waited 5 seconds, turned it back on - beam came on bright and clearly visible... well, for about 1 full second before it dimmed all the way down to 'invisible' again.

Batteries, I thought! Luckily mine came with an additional set! Replaced them, and!!!!!  BOOOM!!  Same problem.  This is THE most unstable beam I've EVER seen.

I wouldn't pay one single penny for a DOZEN of those pens.
