You either lucked out, your your diode is being terribly overdriven.

I agree...lucked out or the diode is overdriven. Still it is quite impressive but no telling how long it will last. Hope it does last awhile.. And if it is putting out closer to 200mw's, it probably will.

Well, it has been well over a month on this recharge version Spymo red, and I must say, I still am running the sh!# out of it.  [smiley=happy.gif]

(Can't test it out yet, awaiting the Kenom Thermal Meter still- :'()
                                           
My boy who won't listen, runs it for 2,3,4, even more minutes at a time.
                                                 :                      

It will get a bit warm, but nothing much over your hand temp.
Power doesn't seem to drop off either.
When focussed, boy does it burn!       

I don't know about the 2x cr123 version, but this is pretty cool thus far.

The guy sounds like a jerk for sure, but he was relatively nice to me when I stated he should at least mention what product name it is since he knows.

(But he does have yet another user name, I believe, I just saw it yesterday,
