Is this a cheaper alternative to RL-2208 for a 3x18650 host?

I'd love to have a 3x18650 host that held the cells next to eat other (fat) instead of end to end (long). Unfortunately, I haven't seen anything under $100. The awesome RL-2208 is usually >$100

Then I stumbled across this:
Flashlight, LED Flashlight, Xenon Flashlight, Luxeon Flashlight & Accessories

It seems to have the 3x18650 included as an internal battery pack, and it provides an external charger. However, I'm betting the 3x18650 battery pack is accessible, and that this could work as a host. Unfortunately it's purple.

I find the above site sketchy, but it's sold at Lightake and FocalPrice for less anyway:
$42 SmallSun ZY-3303 Dual-Light Fisher Light with Tripod Purple
$47 Focalprice.com offers 580 Small Sun ZY-3303 Two-light Fisher Light (Purple) ,discount 580 Small Sun ZY-3303 Two-light Fisher Light (Purple),580 Small Sun ZY-3303 Two-light Fisher Light (Purple) products,low price 580 Small Sun ZY-3303 Two-light Fishe

Only slight worry is that the latter two don't specifically say that they contain 18650s, but they're the same model, same make, same look - and they do contain the battery - I think the latter retailers just didn't know that the triple-cell batteries the lights contained were 18650s.

Thoughts?

As mentioned though, that's > $100, and significantly pricier as a host than this strange discovery.

You do know this host has lenses in both ends right? One end is a white LED, the other is a blue LED.

I missed that entirely - it's tough to spot unless you catch the button position.

That almost makes it cooler in my mind. Perhaps a perfect host for a double-sided laser?

I was thinking the same thing:
445 @ 1.5W for close up burning and a 405 @~700mW for some distance.
A high powered green in there would be cool in place of the 405 too ;)
*edit* Keep in mind, you will have to get ~2 -1/4" round bar stock to machine your heatsinks
