Is the "UV Handheld Laser Engraving Kit" legit?

As I said, I'm not interested in engraving, despite the original advertisement.

DpSS sounds cool, but I have heard that if it's done improperly they can leak light in the driving frequency, which would mess up my fluorescence. I guess I could filter it to be sure. Anyway, I'm saving that idea for later. Right now I'm sticking with 405nm lasers.

Yes, it's legit and I'm a member here. The shear output power of this diode makes it pretty extreme compared to any other diode in this wavelength.
Yeah, it sounds good. I have seen some modules on eBay from China that claim to be 1500mW, but I don't know if that's the truth, or if it's true but they will burn out in two weeks because they are being overdriven. Do you have anything at that power that won't die on me? They only need to run for about 30 sec at a time.

SU, you can always buy a Sharp GH04W10A2GC and drive it to 1400 or 1500mW 30sec on 60 sec off
