i bought a 200mW 405nm laser pointer online for only 30$ i'm just wondering if this laser pointer is really 200mW as it say's on the label or is my laser pointer underspec even if my laser pointer is underspec it is still a good deal for it's price the laser is brighter then any laser pointer i would get outside of the internet her is a video of the laser in action https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qGN2TG8OfVs

Just judging from the video I would think it is at least 100mw, by looking at the burning performance.
It may be 200mw, but you really can't know without an lpm.

You could send it out to have it measured by one of the members with a LPM, which is really the only way to know if it is up to spec. But if it does what you want it to, then maybe the power isn't really important to know. It is obviously powerful enough to be a hazard to your vision, so make sure you use some quality laser protection goggles. This appears to be a nice find for only $30.

i got the laser pointer from laserpenshop.com it was supposed to be 450nm and instead i got a 405nm +10 (415nm) wavelenght instead i guess that doesn't really matter because the color is almost close to blue anyways
