Is my laser pointer broken?

Hello guys I have a problem with my old e-bay type 200mw green laser pointer
its torch typle and it was working really good for 1 month but when i turn it on it shines the green dot for 1 second and turns off.Ive recharged the battery but nothing had changed.Is it my battery or pointer which one have problem you think ?

Buy a new battery and cleanup all the contact points in the laser. Then you'll know if it is the driver or not.
