IR filtered or not? *New DX Greens

I'm not sure that it does have an IR filter but from the look of the photo reflecting the light it may well have one...

If I got my info correct this does not have an IR filter. This style was my first laser that got me into greens and now reds and in the future blue's, I got mine off Ebay. Back to the subject I ran it through my Laser check the other day as I found it again (the laser) and my 10mW on its original CR2 battery was measuring over 55mW (can't remembr exactly) and believe me that aint all Green, I dont have any IR filter's to test it's true output.

Its a nice design and its small and handy but I wouldnt trust the 50mW to be 50mW of pure green.

nope, the DX pen lasers are not ir filtered. when i got my 30, i opened up my 20 and all there was was the pump diode, the crystal and the beamsplitter and lenses.

Things - this has been discussed many, many times, I have personally disected one, and so has Psuedo - we have run tests by adding another IR filter inbetween the lasers and the power meter, and have discovered that they infact do have IR filters - all the pen types 50mw and below have good IR filters, as a matter of fact, and the 100 and 200mw versions have IR filters like swiss cheese ! I believe you missed the IR filter - or yours may be one out of a LOT of them that does not - but I owuld tend to think that it does, and you might have missed it. No offense intended of course.
