Hi Guys,
I think I'll order a "dilda" from DX this month. I would like to know some ways to improve it.
Someone, I think it was rob, said that people buy CR2 3.6v batteries instead of the 3v recommended ones, and buy new lenses from larry or jayrob.
So I have to ask you:
Which CR2 3.6v do you recommend me ?
I think this one is perfect.

Would this charger work fine for both CR2 3.6v and 18650 ?

Which lenses should I get?

OBS: Please, cheap ones.

Thank you very much,

Gabriel Siqueira

PS: My english isn't very good, so I have some difficulties to search in the forum.

Those batteries that you linked to are CR123's, not CR2's. I don't think DX sells 3.6v CR2's.

Buying one of the nice lenses isn't really worth it IMO because the lens costs almost twice as much as the entire laser, the best ones cost over $50 and the increase really isn't that great considering that you could get a whole new laser for less than the cost of the lens.

There was a recent Thread about the New Dilda Drivers...
It seems they fixed the Non-regulating problems of the Old Dildas
and increasing the input voltage to the new Dilda Drivers does NOT
increase the Laser Power output...

Thanks people.
I'll buy the old dilda.

I'll look for this Thread you mentioned.

Edit: You are right, lenses are too expensive.
