Hi people,

Then, I am from an astronomy club and I want to buy several green lasers to point the stars.

I think that 30 mW is sufficient for astronomical pointing.

For other members of the club, I want to purchased the better and I thought of this laser from Optotronic.

But I hesitate to purchased this one from O-Like, because the site does not specify if there is a filter I.R.

What do you think about, and perhaps you could show me a laser more appropriate for amateur astronomy, but of equivalent quality.

Thank you for your responses!:thanks:

you can just email susie from o like and ask her does that laser have and IR filter

If it is to point the stars, I can advise you this one for example. (At the moment there is no problem with this vendor, I can recommend it).

LZTN - 532nm 30mW Smallest Green Laser Pointer

It is small and for my taste is nice too, 30mW is sufficient, but there is also the same model with 50mW if you want.

Also uses a 10440 rechargeable battery.

And with this power, do not worry about the infrared, and far less for what you want to use it.

I just got one of those myself and I'm very pleased with it. Works great for star pointing.
