Hi just recieved my 1.3W 445nm Blue Laser Module
W/Microboost & 405-G-2 Glass Lens off DTR anybody have any good ideas for my build like host, best batteries etc

Use any host you think looks good, and find batteries that suit your host/driver. That's what's great about DIY projects. You can get kits from jayrob, cajunlasers, and many other places. You can get your own flashlights and have somebody make you a heatsink for it. Personally I enjoy the older vintage flashlights & complete custom jobs.

we have a cnc lathe at work so i think i will have a play with it tomorrow, would this battery Buy Lithium Rechargeable Battery Packs Li-Ion battery,3.75V 2200mAh ENIX Energies 700001 online from RS for next day delivery. from rs be suitable to drive my diode if i can get a suitable host to fit it.

i think a pocket mini host would make a great little burner, im pretty sure jayrob sells a kit

i fancy making a one off build but want some ideas on what is the best batteries i.e charge and lasting time to use but also want to keep the host not to huge
