I need googles for the IR region

Where can I get a reasonably priced pair of goggles that will cover 808-like 1100nm? I figure I should get a pair that covers it all. Also I need them to be good enough to handle 3-6W or so.

Those look great. It appears that they cover not only infra red, but ultraviolet as well?

Specifically, can you explain the information under the "Mode" and "Rating" columns.

The mode and ratings are the CE certification information.

D = Continuous Wave lasers (>0.25 sec)
I = Pulsed lasers (1us - 0.25 sec)
R = Short pulsed mode (1ns - 1us)
M = mode locked lasers (<1ns pulse)

L1-L10 is the OD, L1 is OD1, L10 is OD10

Do the specs conform to understood safety requirements?

EN??? etc, etc, etc.

I'm was looking at type 4 for goggles that covered for green and IR.

Although I thought shipping was pricey to the UK, the quote for the goggles themselves was surprisingly cheap, (circa $50-60US depending on model etc.)

Is there a catch?
