I want to purchase a Green Laser Pointer, But I don't know which one to buy, and where to buy it. I've heard of some scammers from some companies like LazerPoint, SellLaser, and some other sellers.

I wanted to buy laser pointers over 5 MilliWatt on many sites like ebay, amazon, DealExtreme, etc. but they are no longer on that list, maybe cuz they are illegal. Where can I find Cheap mid-powerfull lasers?

I want a good laser pointer from 30$ to 70$ dollars, give me a suggestion please.

Thanks in advance.

If you are considering going over 5mW, do you have appropriate eye safety goggles for the green wavelength.. If not, Just keep in mind you can get blinded by the beam before you can blink the eye..
Read here about eye safety : Laser safety - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

You can buy a green laser pen from ebay.. There are hundreds of them, just get the one with AAA's it will save you some money too and people have tested them and most of them are double 10mW+

It means if I Purchase a laser pointer with Over 5mW of Power, even If I don't point it directly to my eyes, there are possibilities of getting blind even if I don't do that?

Safety goggles are there to protect your two and only eyes in any accidental event, They are a FAIL-SAFE protection for your eye..
Since you are buying from eBay with a seller who has sold over 1000+ of these and has an insane seller points.. I dont see any scam infact you bought the right laser..

Oh, Thanks mate, I think I have selected the right one.

And another little Question:
Am I able to see the beam at night with a 5mW Laser?
Sometimes in the item description they say their beam is clearly visible, but itsn't, So to be safe, I'll have to test it out.

The Laser Beam is the most amazing thing on a laser pointer, I love it :P

We wouldn't need goggles if it were simply about not choosing to shine a beam directly into our eyes. Right? No, they're to protect you against the accidental case you shine the beam in your eyes, or reflect it off something that hits you in the eye.

As for getting a mid-power laser, you can try a site like Lazerer. Most green lasers you buy will be above spec anyway, because it's actually harder to keep them under 5mW than slightly above. The green lasers on Amazon.com are usually way above spec too.
