Got my green and red laser Glasses from Wicked. They feel nice on, but looking right down they can slip a bit, but work fine. They arrived in New Zealand in less than 5 days, which is speedy service.

By the time they confirmed they where shipped they arrived in Auckland, and I received it in Christchurch the day after.

Using my red DX200 with the red laser glasses the dot is nice and small, and really helps focus the dot to a pinhead size or less.

I notice in some videos burning through a CD case the holes look bigger then mine. The beam is very narrow on mine, so burns well.
I have accually burned a hole in a cd case I would say around 6 feet away. Seems the beam at it's smallest seems like a mini triangle shape which can be seen in the glasses.

Also got an email from DX, my DX200 Green baton type laser has been shipped, as I ordered it 2 days ago, so got my green laser glasses allready for it.

Just hope the laser goes on arrival?

My red DX200 works well, but got it here in NZ and paid more then what I would have got it though DX, so got it for $90NZ, which works out at $60 if I got one through DX, which I did not know, but at least getting it here, had a gaureentee.

I see in the DX200 photos it looks like it came with 2 CR2's, rechargables? Mine did not, but gave two brand new panasonic CR2's, if so he may have sold the rechargables? Anyway not to concerned as I did read reports of clicky swtiches, and wobbly lens focusing, but mine seems fine, and runs smooth, and can get a great focus, only right out seems a bit floppy.

Still I am happy at the moment, just hoping dX 200 green is ok, as it's a bit of a hassle having to send it back from New Zealand? If I could have got one from here I would have, as it would be easy to get another, but they are not for sale here, even on our trademe?

I did see a claimed 300Mw

Which for the price seems to good to be true, and a nice.

Which maybe ok, but seems after 200mW the prices start going through the roof, so may get the 250mW one also, if it's still there in a couple of weeks, would be nice to have something over 200mW.

The 50mW one I got here in NZ seems to work well, but seems lasers don't like the cold, so warm it up in my hands for a couple of minutes and works well. The batteries that came with it don't work as well as the Energizer e2's, which seems to work better with the laser, under colder conditions.

We are in our winter so would think any laser in winter won't preform as well as in the summer time, unless you warm it up first.

My Astro Aimer 5mw seems to work well in colder temps as we often can get -0 temps here in winter. The Astro Aimer for astronomy is a great little laser and pleased with it, as it regulated to stay bright until it drops below the required voltage, so runs in colder temps, so have run it, on my telescope in around 4 or 5 degrees or so.

I have had a pen laser from scopestuff, great laser also for astronomy, but got broken as I was adjusting it in it's laser holder and happened to fall out on the ground and broke, but find the Astro aimer will stand the cold better even with standard AAA alkiline batteries.

The astro aimer also has regulated white and red LED's for torch functions, so a 3 in one astronomical tool, so is the most useful 5mw green laser you will buy.

The DX200 doesnt come with batteries.

The one you got is exactly how it came from DX, any faults would be DX's fault it would seem.

Have fun with your lasers.

that "300mW" pen is probably a scam - 300mw CNI pens do not exist and even if they did the heat generated would cause the output to drop within seconds - he claims a 1.5 watt laser diode which would probably be around two amps - try sucking that out of AAA batteries!
