Hi to all!!! :)
I want to buy a good blu-ray diode (one or two), and I think that the PHR-803T is the better.
I know that this diode can be found in some XboX360 HD-DVD units and I have seen that this units have a low cost on eBay.
There is any way to know the diode in the optical unit first buying? (Serial number, born date or others)

Best thanks to all.

Just go here.

And buy one from him. If you get an XBOX 360 Ad-On HD DVD player, you have a chance of getting the 0811 sled instead of the 803T sled.

there is no way of knowing what diode it contains until you take it apart.

unless you can get it significantly cheaper than $30, it's better off to just buy one from airy52.
