How mudh would you pay for a box styled laser? Like this. (Lisy WAYYYY beter quality)
It'tle have a SenKat diode.(Or a Blu-Ray) DDL's driver ext...
About how much would you pay for it?
I am thinking about selling them from E-bay or somthing...
I need to get a realistic price.
Im thinking like $50...
:)

on ebay? you cant sell anything over 5mw. But I'd say probably $50 for forum members, ~$100 on eBay. ;D

I think on forum it won't be much. But since you're going for eBay you can probably get a nice price if you can get the batteries on the inside of the case. The fun part is trying to market it properly so your listing won't be removed. ::)

Any ideas? Like how would I get the message acrost that's it's powerfull, but not "powerfull" ebough to be removed?
Im' confused... :o
Oh, and I got the bats on the inside. ::)

maybe you could say that with an "optional knob" (resistor) it will allow it to reach 150mw and let the buyer add that ;) ;D

Just say it's a "5mW" laser <wink> <wink>.. People should be able to read between the lines there. ;)

I don't think you can sell anything additional in your auction, like added options. Everything you're selling needs to be clear and included in one auction. I guess you can make a 2nd one though, a bit more fees.

Well if you say its 5mw or under, they will not remove it, so say in your auction "email for more details" or something. I doubt many people would know the diff between mw's apart from their little red lasers are only <1mw.

"Self Contained and Pre-Assembled Red Laser Module Kit" ::)
I'm trying here.
Maybe look and see what other people are getting away with.

There are tons advertising for "POWERFUL 170mw RED burning laser module not just diode " , "Lot 3 200mW 780nm Sharp High Power Burning Laser Diode " , "HIGH POWER RED BURNING LASER DIODE 100 mW MODULE UNIT " and so on.....Why don't they get removed?

The first one is allowed because its called a laser MODULE. Its a part for a laser. If it was marked as a POINTER, then it would be removed.

for the second one, its allowed because ita a DIODE, as in a part of a laser product. Its allowed because its not a laser POINTER. Who knows what it could actually be for. An actual appliance or a laser pointer.

The abuse potential for an IR laser or things like 100mw greens is unbelievable! They are like weapons.

The way I see it, if you can use PARTS and build a laser from scratch, then you probably know the hazards already. Basically, it implies that you know what your doing so you know how to be safe.

Its not like on ebay where some person just buys a 200mw green.

I want to buy one from you, just without the laserdiode. How much would you charge for that, shipped to Norway?

you should put "5mW* laser"

and at the bottom of the page,

" *100mW " or however powerful it is going to be! you could give that a try

Im going with somthing like: "High-Powered Portable Red Laser Module"
Will that work? :-?
