How good are these optics?

I think I still have some M140 and A140 diodes left in my stock. They've been there for a few years now. I've got several diodes left just in case I get a failure. Some of these, NDB7875, are very difficult to find now. Got a few Sharp diodes too measured for wavelength.

Oh i have 1 of this the top is copper the bottom is actually hard brass very hard to fit in hosts since the bottom is wider and thicker

Oh well, i can sort that out with my Lathe!
At least the top is copper. Thats better than nothing.

Some of the so called copper modules coming from China are actually alloys, not pure copper. It sounds like a little thing, but it's not. Only 99% pure copper will give you the heat transfer capabilities that you want. They may look like pure copper, but they act more like brass.
