How can I optimize the output from a green laser ?

Firstly i'm not talking about pot modding ::) ::)

I have a Laserglow Aries that I want to get better output from. Currently it is outputting about 20-25mW.

I have taken the module apart, from reading some other threads here it seems that this module uses discrete crystals.

After trying to tweak the OC I haven't seen a significant increase in output. The conical shape of the OC holder doesn't really make this very easy ...

My measurements show that the pump diode is putting out 550-600mW, measured on a coherent thermopile sensor. I am only measuring 50-60mW of output coming from the KTP without the OC in place, is this normal ?

Any suggestions on how I may increase the output ?

I am having trouble separating the mounts for the Vanadate and KTP, these are held together by 3 screws which are glued. The heads of the screws are being damaged when I try to unscrew them, any tips on how I may remove these screws ?

Looking forward to some input from the Laser Gurus here ;D :o ;D

You could replace the pump diode with a higher powered one. But it can't be too powerful, and either way there's a high chance of burning the crystals.
