How can i get a laser over 5mw shipped to the US?

Is there anyway except going to canada or mexico, also it there any good guide to mod a 5mw green laser to a higher one?(whats the highest output it can get?

There are perfectly legal green lasers over 5mW that you can order and get shipped to the US.  They just have to have certain safety features, and be FDA approved by an accession number.  It's not hard, just order one that's legal to import and it will get here just fine, I promise.


Also, green lasers these days can't really be modded up any more. That was back in the day, and just doesn't generally happen anymore. Back in the day, makers would make a laser and turn the power down to 5mW to sell it, so you could just turn it back up. Now, they make the laser, set it to the maximum output that it is capable of, and sell it as whatever power that is. So there's no extra output power to gain. You'll just break your laser.
