Hit in eye with 7w sawnu striker

So I was walking, and some idiot shined a 7w sawnu striker at me. I saw a bright flash of light. But my eyes feel fine. Should I worry or not? The guy said he was using a 7w striker.

Yeah, I told him I was going to press charges. I chased him after the incident. I wanted to know what laser I was hit with.

Exactly. Seems like a laser and eyesight question troll or returning troll post that defies common sense. A lot of similar recently.

Yep, as Encap has posted, if you think that you may have a vision issue, see a specialist ASAP.

Ok, so I got my eye checked out, and I was told I have a permanent blind spot. It is in the left corner of my eye, I would say it blocks about 1/30 of my vision. I am pressing charges on that idiot. It wasn't a direct hit either, just a side hit. I was lucky it didn't hit my retina. I am now taking anti- inflammatory meds to make sure my sight stays fine.

Very sorry for that damage freind. Sadly fools like the one who shot you is why high powered lasers may become a thing of the past soon. There is significant legislation trying to be passed on both the state and federal level in the usa. Importation from China is a whole other issue currently on the chopping block so get those orders in now while you can...lasers are not toys and need to be used with discretion and respect.

Yeah, I am going to take a 2 month break from lasers. The strongest I have is 500mw. I hope that idiot gets jail time.
