high-powered single-mode laser diodes on the horizon?

A while ago, Pullbangdead mentioned (on PhotonLexicon) that a company called Soraa had managed to design some high-powered laser diodes. I did a Google search, and sure enough, found some rather promising information.

What does everyone think?

Another thing: as Pullbangdead mentioned on PhotonLexicon, the design of the "non-c-plane" diodes may allow a lower divergence. If this is true, then it'll be really awesome.

In any case, though, we'll probably have to wait at least a few years before those lasers hit the market.
