I am new to this site. Thanks for letting me join.
I am just getting into hardware hacking. Have been
learning how to control stepper motors with an
Arduino and a ULN2003. Have got a couple of
scanners moving in this way and thought it would be
fun to turn them (eventually) into a laser cutting CNC
machine
Anyway, I'm starting off simple and low power in terms of lasers - building them is completely new to me. I have used them in physics lab before, but not for several years..
Been doing a lot of reading around and kept ending up here. Apparently
its the place to be!
