  • How can I make a laser by myself (for my wife) ?
  • What is a quality laser ?
  • Which are the best seller ?
  • How to be sur of the figures (laser power meter) ?
I'm sur I will find lot of stuff here !

Thank you !

oh !

And this is my goal, my perfect laser that I want to create :
  • wavelength = 810nm
  • power = 60mW in continuous wave
  • power density at the tip of the probe head = approximately 1,2W/cm2
I have a lot of work ! haha

🤓😅

why do you want 810nm? 810nm is invisible but i hope you enjoy the forum!

Welcome to the LPF, Antoine. Actually 808nm diode are far more available and far less expensive than other IR laser diodes, but they are very dim and become invisible the longer the wavelength. You might consider getting a 532nm diode pumped solid state laser pointer from eBay as the 301 and 303 styles sell for ~$6.00 each and are green.......so very visible. I have several of these and most are ~80 mW.

Yes I saw it since yesterday !
808nm and 200mW is perfect too for my project

Uh say what now?
haha :ROFLMAO:

You can use specific laser in order to trigger some healing mechanisms in the body.

It's called PHOTOBIOMODULATION thrapy (the old name is "Low Level Laser Therapy" or LLLt).

Laser therapy can be effective for:
  • pain
  • muscle tensions
  • trigger points
  • inflammation
  • tendonitis
  • sprains and strains
  • arthritis
  • osteoarthritis
  • and more !

Welcome to LPF

Lasers can be a lot of fun and building/collecting a very addictive hobby, however the most important thing to know is safety comes 1st, always wear your laser safety glasses to attenuate the wavelength of laser light that you will be working with and always lase safely, never allow a laser to be pointed towards any aircraft, vehicle, person, pet or window of an occupied structure, stay safe and enjoy. :)
