what are some new/recent discoveries/advancements in the laser industry?

also, happy 4th coming up! I plan on using my lasers at this years firework show after wards

on another note, what are everyone's plans for the fourth?

We have 500mW blu-rays, some newer companies with unique lasers (rayfoss, o-like), and a new style dilda!
