Hey, I'm Dante and I wanted to learn a bit more about Lasers and stuff as I want to build one myself.
I was thinking of getting a laser pointer from Dragon Lasers but was put off by the price.
I recently saw a story on Digg about how to make your own with a DVD RW 16x drive and a maglite,
this got me interested in lasers again so I looked around and here I found some tutorials here saying that
you need a driver and that a maglite was not suitable for this. I soon realized that this project would not be
as easy as I thought, this is primarily why I have joined this forum. I will start a Topic in:
Experiments, Modifications & Custom Designs
if that is the appropriate forum for this, asking some questions about my build.
