I am now getting these errors:

That's all fine and dandy... did you see that on your car's digital display:thinking::thinking:

Garbage in..... Garbage out....

Try using an editor like Dreamweaver... the color coding lets you see syntax errors much easier. :)

Hm I am using microsoft expression. I did not really like dreamweaver. Does expression color code errors as well?

You wrote the PHP yourself? If so, what it looks like is you're trying to start a session or do something with cookies in both constants.php and session.php (What's line 1 of constants.php? It looks like you do something to the session at this point, but then try to start a second session on line 46 of session.php as well, but this is blocked because you've already done this in constants.php - I may be wrong, but I think you can only call session-start once per page)

EDIT: Last error is caused when you try to set a session variable/cookie after you've already sent some of the page data - all cookies and header data have to be set, before writing anything, and cannot be changed after something has been written.

For this latest error, you've started outputting HTML to the client before you've started the session. You must always start your session first. Now that I've typed that, I've looked up and seen charliebruce's reply. I don't want to delete this, so hopefully another answer will help. :P

As for Dreamweaver... if there's a rogue quotation mark or something of the like, it lets you really easily pick it up - because the code formatting will get messed up starting at that point. As you write more PHP, you'll almost never run into errors like unexpected strings, etc. Just takes practice. :)

It seems like the error is on line one of process.php
which is:
<?
Does that start a session or is it the whitespace problem?

That tells the PHP parser to read that section as PHP code...

If you'll post the source I'll take a look at it. :)

The error simply means the headers have already been sent. Meaning you have already ended the headers and moved onto the content data. You will need to see if any thing is being output by the server before calling session_start().

If nothing is in those files, you must be including/requiring one of them in something else which does have data being output first.

Hm I do not see anything that would cause the problem, since the html is outputted on line one-- "<?" I also am unable to find any white space.
