Help please!

One more question... Can i use a blown diode to test the driver circuit? i mean.. i have plenty of those

Plus i've tested my driver with it (miliamperemeter in series with diode _|-|_(mA)) and i've got a peak of 330mA... 100 ohm pot + 2x10 ohm resistors parallel(5 ohm) connected to the pot in series... min 5 ohm and max 105 ohm resistance. This is where the wierd part comes in... Calculated current should be max of 250mA at 5 ohm, and it's 330 - what did i miss here?

I'm done! I designed the circuit mostly myself :yh: ... Had to improvise, since i didn't have a proper euro protoboard, so i used an old horn circuit from school, threw down the elements and pulled off the copper connections and soldered parts together with telephone wires. works like a charm *proud*
