help me choose a burning laser!!!

Pretty much like doing it with the sun. :P Welcome! I'm guessing that laser you have there is a 650-670nm 10mW. I've seen ones like that.

I would definitely recommend doing a DIY first. Read up in Experiments and Mods and learn all about the process, then ask your parents and go order the stuff.
