Help me build 405nm laser

kk so basically, i have tried numerous times to build a laser and failed many times

so basically i am wondering now can i build a 405nm laser with the two following components

405nm PHR-803T Blu Ray Diode in Aixiz Laser Module Housing [PHR-803T in Aixiz module] - $19.83 : High Tech DealZ, Simplifying the LASER Hobby!

405nm blu-ray laser diode driver/405nm laser diode on eBay.ca (item 180481457525 end time 14-Apr-10 01:11:47 EDT)

what have you already tried, or what seems to be going wrong? Do you understand the basics of how to build lasers?

i have tried building a red laser, but i failed at soldering wires to the tiny pins of the diode like 2-3 times and i eventually just gave up

so now i want to just buy the stuff rather than failing at soldering again

i have a driver right now i built, but i have no idea if it works or not

you need to practice soldering before attempting the build, try to solder a small wire to a pin tip or needle, keep at it till you get it right.
And with the RKCSTR you generally solder the diode pins right to the driver contacts

thanks man, ima see if i can get the high tech deals guy to solder some wires to the pins for me so i dun have to come in touch with the diode

If you buy the diode already assambled in the module, then where's the problem?

huh no i have no problem, i havent boughten it yet

before i tried putting it in myself and soldering wires to the pins and everything and i would break the diode

also i tried building my own driver and i wasnt sure if it was working or not

so now i am gonna buy a driver and everything
