I have a set of PCB layouts, and I'm wanting a PCB made from the designs (.pdf) format.
Anyone with a background in making PCB's make some suggestions on the .pdf files.

Project is based on a design by Gamma spectroscopy yahoo group and is licensed under creative commons.

Project is a Scintillation detector/ SCA (Isotope identifier).

Again this is for the eyes of those with expertise in building PCBs. I don't know if I need more info than what's here.

Please have a look. That would be of great help.

I don't see any PCB Gerber Files which you would need
to have a company produce PCBs for you.

I also don't see any PCB artwork which means that it
would need to be laid out/created using the schematic.

Then the Gerber files could be generated...

You are looking at a lot of time/$$$ to get that artwork
designed/laid out without errors.

ahh.... ok I was wondering if i was missing something.
Thank you Laserbee for clearing this up. I showed the PCB today to some engineers.
They kind of looked perplexed. That's why.

Gerber files. I'll ask the GS yahoo group.

I must not be getting all the emails from the Yahoo group reflector, and that would explain why I was out of the loop with outdated info!

But, yes, these are technically all you'd need to build it.... if you had a tremendous amount of time to pour in to making a proper schematic and then even more to making a pcb layout. I can't stand "exploded view" drawings like this, they're "ok" for repairing something already built, but are a nightmare to build from.

But hey, awesome to see V3 has finally hit the ground!

Gerber files are uploaded now to CGE and to our forum.
Check them out on the Open source Gamma spectrometer thread.
