very easy modable(although I won´t recommend that...),has a great and sturdy feel and a serious wow effect if it is you first green laser and leaves much room for future power increases(I mean buying a stronger laser ). And 30mW is not _that_ dangerous.
I remember someone on this forum who wanted to go for an rpl 475 as a first laser .
Of course, he would have enough power, but were´s the fun in that? But that does not mean that I wouln´t get one if I had the money
*edit* You can never really say which laser will be brighter, as they are both DPSS lasers... Output depends on temerature, crystal quality, etc... It depends on what you want. If you want a roboust, good for beginers and pretty cheap laser that is pretty close to its rated value, get the Romisen. If you want the CNI from NOVA, you will get a very good laser that averages above the stated value along with warranty and a very slick host. Ahh it is hard to understand what I mean :-?
