Hi everyone,
I am completely stuck between two choices and I would like your advice/ what you think is better. I am building a 445nm laser with a nice host which has a great heatsink for the FMT driver. The X drive runs at 1.8A and costs 15$ and the FMT driver runs at 1.7A and costs 27$, giving slightly less power. However, I just bought a Panasonic 18650 3100mAh battery and I have a 18650 charger. I do not have 16340 batteries or charger, so I would have to buy those.
What is the better option?

The X-Drive is a buck driver. You can't use it with one 18650 cell for a 445nm diode. You will need the X-boost version. The FMT driver is buck/boost. So the only choice is the the FMT driver.
