Hello to all,
I'm Phill from Newcastle Upon Tyne, England.
Any Advice Would be greatly appreciated, Only just discovered lasers as a hobby,
This is my first attempt at a build using an M140 diode, a driver, a heatsink & an 18650 battery, seems to work ok, but I'm concerned about over heating, it gets very hot quite quickly. I don't let it run for more then 30 seconds.

Do you have any safety goggles ?
Are you using heatsink for the driver
and for the laser diode ? :thinking:

does a good thermal paste make a difference?
