Hello LPF,
My name is loothed, and I come from Sydney, Australia. I enjoy messing with lasers and trying to build them. So far I haven't quite got there with building them. As I live in Australia trying to get anything over about 5mW is hard :/. The most I have ever had is a 20mW green.
I have joined LPF to hopefully gain more insight into the world of lasers. I am interested in any other Aussies who have lasers and how and where they got them from. My goal is to eventually buy(or build) a CO2 >40W laser but I am definitely far from it.
I would appreciate any tips on where I could start buying parts or lasers from that are not online.
My other hobbies include programming, skiing and fencing. I love to program just for fun. I make everything from websites to games to hacks. With skiing being that I am based in Australia that can be a bit difficult also. Fencing is more just of a side thing I do.
