Here is a yellow(technically orange) laser which outputs about 3mW of 593.5nm light. I took this picture a few hours ago as a matter of fact! The color is absolutely stunning, it just has to be seen in person to fully appreciate it

I like it, a beautiful color. It also a little looks like red color.
Cameras are notorious for not picking up
the true color of a laser. 593nm is
getting close to the red end of the
spectrum, so the camera is probably fooled
into showing it more red than it actually is.
I used my mom's Nikon D90 camera for this picture, don't know if that makes a difference?? It's pretty close though to how I see 593.5nm :wtf:

Here's a 593.5nm in operation. It's a lab model but you can see how "yellow" the beam is. This was the first yellow laser I sold for optogenetics research so I had to video it.
