Hello, I am a high school senior who lives in Salt Lake City, Utah. I will be going to California Polytechnic San Luis Obispo for electrical engineering this fall. I have always wanted to own a high powered laser and never thought about building one until now. I figure this will be a good learning experience about circuitry before I start college.

My other hobby is keeping aquariums, I have 4 total. A 55 gallon which houses the oscar you see in my display picture, a 29 gallon that has a school of shell dwellers, and my most recent project are two 10 gallon planted tanks with 40 watt lights and a co2 tank.

I am looking forward to learning about lasers and the circuits that run them. Also, the building part will be fun.
