Hey all,
just wanted to say hello to everyone. I'm a german techie, undergoing currently pilot training to be an airline pilot (ATPL) in a few years. I'm interested in all kind of special technology since wrecking the computer of my dad in my earliest years ;-) That includes Head-Up-Displays, neural interfaces, Lasers, ...
I'm interested in high-power-lasers because I find it impressive to pack so much power in so much size, and thinking about buying one as a backup device in aviation - be it as a emergency beacon or to engage a fire without matches when I'm down... ;-) Or at least, I'm trying to find out if this would be even possible!
