Hello LPF members,
my name is Pratap and I'm from India.I'm a long time reader of LPF but whenever I had a question about laser related stuff I just googled my question along with laser pointer forums as a tag and bingo, the answers were here.So I never tried to register. Now is the time to do so cause I'm building a 2W 445nm laser for my CNC.I just want to share my experiences and If I ever get a regular question that no one ever answered which is highly unlikely then I'm in the right place to get my help.

Welcome to the LPF, Pratap. There are many nice and knowledgeable people here who’ll be happy to listen and to help you whenever possible. It’s nice to hear that you decided to join the Forum. You should continue using the Search button on the bottom of the page to access our extensive database with information about all things laser. Our chief concern is safety, so please remember to always protect yourself and others. 2W 445nm lasers are very powerful and dangerous if not handled with great care and respect. Be sure to use proper vision protection, and never point a laser at any living thing. Lasers are wonderful and fascinating devices, but please remember to always be laser safe. Take Care. :D

As previously mentioned, be sure to take advantage of the "custom search" button at the botttom of the page, also be sure to obtain proper safety glasses/goggles.

Welcome! Like everyone is saying, try to obtain proper gear like glasses to prevent your retinas from being burnt out. You want them to see the cool stuff you can do! Also, if you got a question; make sure it isn't answered already by someone else in the past, which is why I recommend the search button.

Have fun!
