Welcome to the LPF. "Playing with high voltage" is probably a poor choice of words. We use high voltage and current to excite flash lamps on solid state lasers. These voltages will kill you very easily if you are not very careful. Lasers are also not toys and their danger should be known and respected. You can lose the vision in an eye with one careless mistake. Read up on laser safety here. It might save you from becoming another statistic.
