Hi there! Just wanted to say hello to all the members of this forum.

This is my very first forum I have ever joined so I am new to the forum thing.
When it comes to laser I am not a newbie by any means. I have been building my own lasers for a few years now and I have referred to this forum hundreds if not thousands of times. I have never thought about joining until recently after buying a 1W 520nm from Doug Johnson and he pointed me to DTR's laser shop for parts.

Then DTR pointed me to some of the members here for hosts. Up until this point I was buying mass produced hosts of all the common lasers sold on laserpointerpro and other overseas sites.

I am so happy to have the ability to buy my supplies right out of the US now and have the help and knowledge of all the folks here.

Thank you for the link to Laserpointersafety, I have spent a lot of time looking around that site for a long time now as I try to keep up to date on new laws and legislation based on lasers because it is a hobby I truly enjoy and believe that these people causing the problems with lasers are going to ruin it for those of us that use them safely and know the risks involved and take the proper precautions while using our lasers.
