the names matt, im planning on buying a laser pretty soon and would prefer around 95mW green. Ive been a member of lasercommunity but apparently their not that good. i was planning on buying a 95mW from techlasers but after reading a while on here, i can see that their lasers aren't very good quality. where is a good site for reasonable prices where i can purchase a 95mW green laser? and yes, i plan on buying goggles with them. 8-)
 





seems good to me.. someone told me about techlasers. but i also heard their not that good. and it looks like im sticking to these forums because i just got banned for no reason from "other" laser fourms.

and does nova lasers come with goggles?

yea, im going to order one as soon as possible. most likely the X100mW+. just wondering the main difference between the X75mW and the X100mW. Im going to order either one, im just waiting for them to get in stock. there all sold out :'(

yea it sucks...does anyone know of some pretty good laser companies? i know of laserglow and nova. any others?
 
Optotronics. And hey by the way looks like the x125 and higher models are on a huge price drop! lol sure, 4 days after i buy mine ;D ;D ;D Looks like this is because of the x-100 and x-75 being out of stock. Looks like now is the time to buy an x125. Shoot, i could have saved 50 bucks.
 
i was looking at some lasers from kaidomain. i just basically want a junker to mess around with for now as i cant find my others. i was thinking about the 10mW or 20mW. the reason for this is because there is no IR filters. What would be the approximate IR output on those. and will Lasershades block IR?
 
bobobob121-- IR-spewing monsters = no. If you really just want a junker, get something from DX. They suck, but they at least have some semblance of an IR filter.
 
alright, will do :) and i just want to mess around with this one.
and by DX do you mean dealextreme? if so, i was thinking about the 30mW.
 
yes, ive heard good things about the 30mw, i have a 5mw from them and its been working great too, its also way overpowered it can pop a baloon :o

Although they are on holiday till the 15th and there shipping does take about 3-4 weeks so dont expect it to be here soon.

I received my true 30 yesterday. It's pretty amazing, the beams it produces is really impressive. I haven't tried to burn anything yet because it's way too bright for indoor use without goggles.

For just 24 bucks, go for it  [smiley=thumbup.gif]
 
Bob, if you want a junker laser, go to dealextreme.com and then the sub category "Green lasers"

They are cheap chinese model lasers that come with no/very bad IR filters. If you get a relatively low mW version and use it outside you will be 100% fine. People make IR out to be more than it really is... but it is still bad in large doses.

It basically spreads out over a while so using it outside is fine. Just dont shine it at a wall in front of you ;)
