Heatsink?

if i were to use a leadlight for a blue-ray laser, can i make an aluminum heatsink that would go around the area of the diode and would it help at all? thanks to all that help

Yeah you could, it would look kind of funny but it would work. You could just drill a hold the size of the leadlight in a cylinder of aluminum.

i have really good skills on a lathe id make it look awesome when i get the heatsink done i may make them to sell if anyone is interested.

ya u could make your heatsink on the end and make ur leadlight look like a hulk laser
