Imo hd dvd is better more features and with bluray you have to buy a new player when they update(original players are already are being phased out).

It was more features no one used, and with bluray firmware 2.0 coming out it will allow updates I believe and internet usage. Just get a PS3, then no need to worry about updates. People are more concerned about capacity for content not useless picture in a picture features. If it was better, it would of won.

What type of laser does HD-DVD use? The drives are cool - but a writer would be a much better score ;D

I think the colours are the same, but the manufacturers are different. So they aren't quite the exact same.

Sucks that hd-dvd burners are super rare so it will be hard to find a cheap burner.
