Having trouble focusing Blu-ray

Jake, in my last post I meant to say hook up your meter leads to the wires you have separated. I thought it would be obvious but I guess it wasn't.

Remove the 10 ohm resistor and put those wires back to the way they were.

i took the resistor of and and conected the red back to geather and it says 0.05

I give up Jake. You are having a very hard time following instructions. Sorry but I can no longer help you unless you follow instructions. It is clear you have no clue on the use of a multimeter, and I don't know how many times I have suggested you search google for instructions.

Is your diode hooked up to the circuit too? Is it lasing?

I was just curious, how do I tell if my diode is lasing?  Do I have the lens on or off (I have an AixiZ housing)? Should the casing get warm when it is lasing (or at all)? Should there be a spike in current once it starts lasing?

Also, jake: when you want to measure mA, the multimeter needs to be in series with the circuit (as opposed to parallel when measuring voltage).

it measures to be 38.9 and thats with out the br on i have to conect the to red wires to geather to make it power on but its still dimm at a short distance

If the BR isn't turned on you should get a 0 reading on your meter. You must have a short somewhere at the output.

the picture above how i have it hooked up with the leads from my meter the br is lasing but its not that brite is there any way i can make it briter ?
