Hello everyone. I am looking to buy a new laser specifically a 300mW+ 405nm laser. Im interested in purchasing one from OLike priced at $42. I just wanted to know if I should expect an up to spec laser and if the service is any good. What do you guys think?? And if one of you happens to have a 300mW+laser for around the same price please PM ME..
THANKS.

Sorry but you really need to use the search as this question has been asked a 100 times unless someone else wants to provide links. Not giving you a hard time, just asking you to try some research.

Look in the companies section for this information. It's always good to do some research beforehand :)

You know, I was just about to do that before I even posted this thread but for some reason I didnt.. I will do my research, thanks guys. Anyways do you guys find a 300mW laser entertaining? Specifically during the night??

From my experience, violet lasers are a bit harder to see. If you want one with burning power and visibility I recommend a 445nm at like 1W+. Or even a 520nm/535nm. Both are much more visible than the 405s (in my opinion.)

I'd ask a more senior member though because they usually have more experience.

My 850mw 405nm is dim and the dot is like white.. not so purple. I was disappointed when i got it. Burns at over 20 meters doe.

It depends on what you want/like.
There are many parameters, not just power and wavelength (color).

People here are tired of answering the same questions over and over again, so research should be done and then any remaining questions should be asked.

I recommend getting a custom built laser, or building one yourself. It can be as simple or as complicated as you want it to be.
It may cost more, but you will appreciate it much more. It is totally worth it, trust me.
For example, S4 is a nice host.

If you're getting the laser for a visible beam at night you probably won't be happy with a 300mw 405nm. The beam is visible, but not very bright at all. It also will seem out of focus because our eyes don't like focusing on such a short wavelength.

I'd recommend a >100mw green or a >1W 445nm laser if you're looking for WoW factor at night.
