can't put pic sorry it not like right next to the dot it on the edge of the lens by the looks it's a very thin half circle on the outside radius

Which laser is it?

Does it look something like this?

There are a few possibilities.

1. The lens could be dirty.
2. The laser could be mode hopping.
3. The laser could be misaligned.
4. Any combination of the above.
