Whats the story on Hair removal Lasers . On eBay some companies deny they are a Laser devive. This vid is from a company who say its a Laser and has locking devices on them .

probably ir. wouldnt try honestly. cheaper to just buy/build a laser

I'm wondering how many appliances are there that have LDs in them. I wouldn't pay $200 just to harvest a LD but it amazes me to no end how much Lasers have shown up in ordinary things. We all know you can get LDs out of DVD writers . What other appliences are there that have these little treasures in them ? I'm not interested in cost as there are plenty of thrif stores in the area. :yh:

Well DTR has great LDs. ill explain the process of harvesting. it goes as follows: first go to DTRs site and find the LD you want. then proceed to checkout. now heres where a specialized tool kicks in. everyone just calls it paypal. now you press checkout and some money is used to bribe the laser diode into an envelope and it gets sent to you. then you just wait for it to arrive... No but seriously DTR is better then harvesting.
