1.
What exactly does Laser Radiation do to you if it harms you (sounds a little weird, but I can't figure out how to say it)

2.
Is it better to have a higher mW or a lower mW?

3.
Is the lower the nm the more powerful/brighter?

1. It burns different parts of your eye , depending on the wavelength ,if the power is high enough
2. A highrt mW , duh
3. The brightest nm is 555nm at day and 505nm when your eyes are adjusted to dark.Anything above or bellow gets dimmer and dimmer until it's invisible.
Power doesn't depend on wavelength(nm). However shorter wave photons have higher energy while longer wave photons have less energy, so to achieve the same amount of power with a longer wave you need more photons.

1. It doesn't harm you anymore than regular focused light does

2. It depends. mW is a power rating (1/1000th of a watt). So, obviously the higher the power (mW) the stronger the laser will be. But, if you dont want a strong laser then lower mW would be better.

3. nm is a wavelength measurement. Every color of visible light has its own wavelength. 400nm is deep violet (on the border of UV) and 700nm is deep red, getting close to infrared. Like switch said, the shorter the wavelength of light (or the smaller the nm) the higher the energy density is. But thats another subject in itself. If you just want raw power, pay attention to the mW's, look at the nm's to decide color.

NEVER!!! :D

Good addition to my post, Gooey. I guess I should've said those things , but I just got up. :p
