I really need to know how to go about getting the insides of the flash light out.
Its the Ultrafire C3 Cree silver body.
Basically, once the top of the flash light is off, you can see that inside there is a plate that acts as the positive for the flash light and sits below the thread and is soldered in. I've looked at all the tutorials and searched the forum thoroughly but cant seem to find one that specifically tackles this problem.
The only tutorial I can find with the Silver C3 doesn't show how to take the guts out.
Can anyone guide me how to do this before i make a mess of things?
Thanks in advance :)

It's not soldered in. Parts of it are soldered together, but it all just unscrews. You will see two "notches" on the edge of the "flat part". Insert some sort of tool in those notches and unscrew it. I use a pair of snap-ring pliers to do it.

Peace,
dave
